The In’Flector See-Through Radiant Barrier Window Insulator originated in Canada approximately 24 years ago, circa 1986.  The patented see-through window insulator was an unusual, but very effective product, which initially was marketed heavily towards the winter months to draw solar gain into rooms and offices through windows, thus naturally providing indoor heat and reducing the amount of electrical heat called upon to heat inside quarters.  Over time, it was also marketed towards the summer periods, where its’ reversal enabled solar and radiant heat gain to be reflected out away from the windows, thus reducing cooling costs and providing considerable indoor comfort.

In 1999, Advantage Window Systems, Inc., became the owner of In’Flector Control Systems, and in April of that year moved the company from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Aledo, Texas, just west of Fort Worth.  At the time, the company had 26 franchises located all over Canada, and it was then that the USA market was targeted for this cutting-edge product.  Over time, the In’Flector has been sold successfully from Washington state to New York, from California to Georgia and the Carolinas, but oddly enough, it has never been marketed in Florida, until now…………

In 2010, the In’Flector was available in 14 states in the USA but, there was not a Florida Distributor…..until May 10 , 2010, when Florida Solar Window Insulators LLC began doing business as Florida’s Exclusive In’Flector Distributor.  Located in Jensen Beach, Florida, on the Southeast coast midway between Orlando and Miami, FSWI hit a home run as they had amazing success with their very first customer, MailBox USA of Jensen Beach, Fl…….With their storefront facing west, their front room sizzled during the afternoon, where working conditions for the 2 owners were quite uncomfortable, as well as for their customers too.  After being solicited for the In’Flector and saying “How fast can you install it????”, the storefront window was  measured, manufactured, and installed 2 days later.   The results were instant!  In-store comfort levels were immediately so much more comfortable and tolerable for the owners, and virtually all of their customers commented on the increased comfort level and newfound coolness in their store.   See the testimonials from our customers

Besides dealing with solar heat gain entering building through windows, the In’Flector also negates solar and radiant heat gain which enters rooms through skylights.

As we all know, skylights are very prevalent in the state of Florida. While the In’Flector cuts out the solar heat gain through the skylights, it cuts down on glare while still allowing daylight to enter into the room.
